Buea Celebrates the Golden Years of SOBA Brotherhood and the Pride of Being a Soban

We Congratulate Buea as a Chapter for not only celebrating chronological fifty years of existence but of the love of brotherhood that has stood the test of times. A comradeship than always began with annual selections of local champions from different primary schools and giving them world class education. A genuine education that makes them become great men at all times and thus providing the needs of their generations.

Today Sobans are recognized all over the world and have transformed Sasse college to not just alma mater but a pilgrimage home land. It's the joy of every Soban to visit the school and often accompanied by the family and well-wishers especially their spouses.

They are families having infinite generations of Sobans from Great Grandfathers to Grandfathers and even fathers of Sobans currently in formation within the college. The beauty of Sasse college reflects in all spheres of life. The friends from Sasse college do not abandon each other but stay connected at all times celebrating every milestone and blessings achieved.

Today classmates' connections are becoming deeper and viable than family ties. Every SOBA celebration of this magnitude is an opportunity to rekindle long standing years of friendship and breeds new acquaintances that bridges the class and generation gaps. SOBA brotherhood (sobahood) has gradually become a continuum of fraternities from different classes and generations that are being woven together. Buea chapter is blessed to host such an event at the nostrils of Sasse college from where it derived its name.
